Graffiti in Palestine

International artists flock to this area to paint on the walls in Palestine as an act of beautification.

During a recent trip, I was offered by the taxi driver in Bethlehem to drive around town to visit the various graffito in town. The drivers advertise most of them as Bansky's.

Make hummus not walls

Well, I doubt that all of the graffiti along this 'Bansky trail' were created by him. Nevertheless, it is an interesting and beautiful kind of open air art gallery and kept me quite busy for the day.

And I got to pick up my souvenir coffee mug at the 'Bansky shop'. Merchandising has arrived in the alternative graffiti scene.
